Panther Creek is Home. The Woodlands?
That’s My Office.

Ceiling Fan Installation and Repair

Adam Taylor the Handyman Installing a Ceiling Fan in The Woodlands, TX

Wobbling, clicking, or doing that thing where one speed sounds like a helicopter — I’ve seen it all. I’ve replaced countless fans across The Woodlands, from Panther Creek to Grogan’s Mill. Balanced, quiet, and done right. TDLR License #894 and #376398.

Garbage Disposal Repair

That sound your disposal is making? It’s not getting better on its own. I’ve fixed or replaced them from Alden Bridge to Sterling Ridge and College Park. I’ll get your kitchen back in working order. TDLR License #894 and #376398

TV Mounting & Installation

Your TV deserves a wall! Level, secure, cables hidden. I’ve mounted screens throughout The Woodlands — Town Center to Indian Springs. Whether it’s above a fireplace or on a bedroom wall, it will look like it was just born there.

Honey-do Lists

A hand drawn Honey-do List given to Adam Taylor the Handyman by a customer in The Woodlands, TX

That list has been on the fridge so long it’s basically part of the decor. One thing or ten — from Shenandoah to Cochran’s Crossing, my favorite thing to do is get through your list so you can stop looking at it.

Picture, Art and Curtain Hanging

Those frames on the floor are basically modern art at this point. And curtains still in the box won’t block much sun. I use a self-leveling laser — not a guess — for perfect placement, anchored securely and positioned right, whether it’s Town Center or Alden Bridge.

Furniture Assembly

Adam Taylor the Handyman Assembling IKEA Furniture in The Woodlands, TX

Life’s too short to spend a Saturday fighting IKEA instructions. I assemble everything from simple shelves to full home gym setups across Creekside Park and Sterling Ridge — every piece sturdy, level, and ready to use.

No job is too small (Seriously, try me)

No job is too small. One picture to hang, one fan to replace, one piece of furniture to assemble — I’ll come out for it.

What Sets Me Apart (Besides my Trailer)

My Ultimate Handyman Trailer

Most handymen show up, look around, and then tell you they need to make a parts run. To me, that’s just not efficient — and I love efficiency. So I built and stocked my Ultimate Handyman Trailer with that in mind. It’s loaded with DeWalt tools, all kinds of hardware, fasteners, anchors, and random tidbits I’ve accumulated over 10 years. Everything but the kitchen sink.

In all seriousness, I don’t pretend to have everything – but once we chat about your project I’ll know exactly what I need, and if I don’t already have it, I’ll grab it on the way to you.

My Billing Structure (no surprises)

For my customers in The Woodlands and Shenandoah, my rate is $120 per hour, plus a one-time $50 service call fee that covers my travel, insurance, and my fully stocked Ultimate Handyman Trailer. So the first hour comes to $170 total, and after that I bill in 15-minute increments at my hourly rate — you only pay for the time I’m actually working.

If materials are needed, I stop at the store on the way, show you the receipt, and add the exact cost to your invoice. What I paid is what you pay. Not a penny more.

Before I show up, make a full list — you’ll be amazed how much I can knock out in an hour.

Recent Handyman Jobs in The Woodlands, TX

Adam Taylor the handyman using his self-leveling laser to install an accent wall in Creekside Park, The Woodlands, TX

Creekside Park

I recently finished up a clean accent wall install in Creekside Park using a pre-cut wall molding kit from the Art3d line.  This was a big visual upgrade—taking a plain wall and turning it into a sharp, modern focal point. The panels come pre-cut, but I used my self-leveling laser level to make sure everything was level, evenly spaced, and lined up right.

Adam Taylor the Handyman replacing an AC vent/register in Cochran's Crossing, The Woodlands, TX

Cochran’s Crossing

I replaced several burnt-out light bulbs and installed 6 new A/C vents to improve airflow throughout the home.  It was a quick visit, but because I live right down the road in Panther Creek, I was able to squeeze this job in.

Adam Taylor the Handyman installing a safety bar in Panther Creek. The Woodlands, TX

Panther Creek

Just the other day I installed several safety bars in a tiled shower.  This is one of those jobs you don’t want to leave to just anyone.  My top priority on a job like this is to make sure the safety bars are securely anchored to the wall.

Frequently Asked Questions — Handyman in The Woodlands, TX

Do you serve my village in The Woodlands, TX?

What is your hourly rate and how does billing work?

For customers in The Woodlands and Shenandoah, my rate is $120 per hour, plus a one-time $50 service call fee that covers my travel, insurance, and my fully stocked Ultimate Handyman Trailer. So the first hour comes to $170 total, and after that I bill in 15-minute increments at my hourly rate — you only pay for the time I’m actually working.

Do you charge a markup on materials or parts?

If materials are needed, I stop at the store on the way, show you the receipt, and add the exact cost to your invoice. What I paid is what you pay. Not a penny more.

Do you have a minimum charge for very small, single tasks?

Yes. My rate is $120 per hour, plus a one-time $50 service call fee — that puts the minimum at $170 for the first hour. Because of this, I always encourage my customers to make a list before I arrive. You’d be amazed how much I can knock out in an hour. See everything I do here.

How do I schedule service?

It’s best to text me directly at 281-827-2614. During regular business hours I’m usually working in someone’s home. And when I’m on their clock, I want to be respectful of their time. And after business hours, I’m at home with my family. So unless you happen to call me when I’m between jobs, I typically don’t pick up my phone.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. I hold TDLR Licenses #894 and #376398, and I carry $1M/$2M general liability insurance — so you’re covered no matter the job.

Do you guarantee your work?

Yes. I only take jobs that I’m qualified for and have a lot of experience with, so I rarely get callbacks — but if something I did caused a problem, I come back fast and make it right. In my 10 years of doing this, I’ve only had to make one insurance claim.

Can you provide references?

Absolutely, I’d be happy to put you in contact with any of my customers (subject to their approval first of course). But you can also just google “Adam Taylor the Handyman” and read my reviews. I have over 100 5-star reviews and every one of them came from a neighbor just like you.
