I'm Adam Taylor — I don't just work in The Woodlands, I actually live in Panther Creek, just minutes from Sterling Ridge. I work regularly in Carlton Woods and sometimes grab groceries from Walmart on the way home. When you hire me, you aren't dealing with a franchise call center or a stranger dispatched from across town. You're dealing directly with your neighbor — a licensed, insured professional who's been taking care of homes in Sterling Ridge for years.
Sterling Ridge is one of The Woodlands' most beautiful villages — home to the Gary Player Golf Course, Forestgate Park, and some of the most well-maintained homes in the area. These are homes people take pride in, and the work I do here reflects that. I show up on time, fully stocked in my Ultimate Handyman Trailer, and ready to knock out your entire honey-do list in a single visit.
Honey-Do Lists: Sterling Ridge homeowners tend to have high standards — and a list to match. I regularly knock out 6–8 items in a single visit out here: a ceiling fan that needs balancing, a door that won't latch, a TV that's been sitting in a box for three months. Show me the list and let's get through it.
High & Hard-to-Reach Light Bulb Replacement: Sterling Ridge homes have some serious ceiling heights — two-story foyers, vaulted great rooms, recessed lighting you'd need a ladder to even think about. I carry the right equipment on my trailer and swap them all out in one visit, including upgrading to LED while I'm up there.
Smart Lock & Deadbolt Installation: Sterling Ridge residents take home security seriously, and a lot of my calls out here are for keyless smart lock upgrades on front and garage entry doors — cleaner, more secure, and no more hiding a key under the mat.
Picture and Art Hanging: I use a laser level to get perfect placement every time — heavy mirrors, gallery walls, single statement pieces. Everything ends up level, anchored into something solid, and exactly where you want it.
Cabinet Hardware Installation: Precisely drilling and mounting new pulls and knobs to refresh kitchen or bathroom cabinetry.
Weather Stripping Replacement: Replacing worn seals around exterior doors to improve energy efficiency and stop drafts.
TV Mounting: Every screen perfectly level and securely mounted — I route cables cleanly and make sure the setup fits your space.

Sterling Ridge homes tend to run larger — which usually means more fans, more rooms, more chances for something to start wobbling. When it does, I'll get it taken care of. TDLR License #894 and #376398.
When your disposal stops cooperating in the middle of dinner prep, that's nobody's idea of a good night. I'll come fix it and get your Sterling Ridge kitchen back in working order. TDLR License #894 and #376398.
More wall space means more opportunities to get it right — or wrong. I'll get everything hung straight, anchored correctly, and exactly where you want it.
Bigger rooms, more furniture, more boxes. IKEA, Wayfair, Pottery Barn — hand it over and I'll get everything built and level.
Bigger rooms need a properly mounted TV — not one sitting on a stand in the corner. I'll get yours up on the wall, level, cables tucked, and looking like it belongs there.
More house means more list. Hand it over — I'll work through everything on it. Genuinely my favorite kind of job.
If I listed everything, you’d be scrolling all day.
From small fixes to full honey-do lists — if you're not sure I do it, just call or text. I probably do.

There are so many things, but here are just a few:
My Ultimate Handyman Trailer is one of the things that sets me apart from everyone else. I keep every tool, gadget, and gizmo imaginable stocked and ready to go — so when I show up, I'm ready to work from minute one. Fast, efficient, and with years of experience under my belt, I've genuinely seen it all — and I've got the trailer to prove it.

I believe in honest, transparent pricing. I charge $120 per hour plus a $50 service call fee to cover my travel and fully stocked Ultimate Handyman Trailer.
This results in a $170 minimum for the first hour. After that, I bill in 15-minute increments so you only pay for the time I’m actually working. If materials are needed, I provide the receipt with zero markup and add the exact cost to your invoice.
Most of my Sterling Ridge customers have a list of 3–10 small repairs. I can usually take care of everything in one visit, which saves you time and money.

Just about everything on your honey-do list — furniture assembly, ceiling fan repair and replacement, picture and art hanging, custom closet shelving, curtain installation, garage storage solutions, TV mounting, and much more. I also work regularly in Carlton Woods, so I'm very familiar with the homes in this area. If you're not sure whether I handle something, just call — 281-827-2614. TDLR License #894
Furniture assembly, ceiling fan replacement, and picture and art hanging are at the top of the list. After that it's custom closet shelving, curtain installation, TV mounting, and honey-do lists. Sterling Ridge homes also tend to have high ceilings and hard-to-reach fixtures — I carry the right equipment on my trailer to handle those too.
Just down the road in Panther Creek. A Sterling Ridge customer recently called me about a door that had stopped catching — I got there fast and knocked it out in a single visit. That kind of response is only possible because I'm not coming from across town.
That's my specialty. Most of my Sterling Ridge customers have a list of 3–10 items — I work through the whole thing in a single visit so you're not coordinating multiple appointments.
Call or text me directly at 281-827-2614, or reach out through www.adamtaylorthehandyman.com. You'll hear from me, not a call center.
No matter which village you're in, I've got you covered.
