I'm Adam Taylor — I don't just work in The Woodlands, I actually live in Panther Creek, just minutes from Grogan's Mill. When you hire me, you aren't dealing with a franchise call center or a stranger dispatched from across town. You're dealing directly with your neighbor — a licensed, insured professional who knows these homes firsthand.
Grogan's Mill is the oldest village in The Woodlands, with many homes dating back to the mid-1970s. That means settling doors, aging fixtures, and updates that need to respect the character of the neighborhood. I show up on time, fully stocked in my Ultimate Handyman Trailer, and ready to knock out your entire honey-do list in a single visit.
Having lived and worked in The Woodlands since 2023, I'm very familiar with the needs of Grogan's Mill's established homes. As the oldest village in The Woodlands — many built in the mid-to-late 1970s — these homes have real character and some very specific needs. Whether it's replacing an original ceiling fan with a modern high-efficiency model or precisely mounting a heavy mirror in one of the beautiful homes near The Woodlands Resort, I focus on updates that respect the history of the village while adding modern functionality.

Grogan's Mill is where The Woodlands started — and some of these homes have the original fans to prove it. When it's time for a replacement or a fix, I'll get it taken care of. TDLR License #894 and #376398.
Fifty-year-old kitchens get a lot of use. When your disposal finally calls it quits in Grogan's Mill, I'll come replace it and get your kitchen back in working order. TDLR License #894 and #376398.
A home with some history deserves walls that look the part. I'll get every piece hung straight, anchored right, and in the spot you've been picturing.
IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon — whatever showed up on your doorstep, I'll get it built and level. The instructions can go straight in the recycling.
These older Grogan's Mill homes have great walls for a mounted TV — once you know where the studs are. I'll get yours up level, secure, and cables tucked away.
Some honey-do lists are a page long. Some are a binder. Either way, it's genuinely my favorite kind of job — hand it over and I'll get to work.
If I listed everything, you’d be scrolling all day.
From small fixes to full honey-do lists — if you're not sure I do it, just call or text. I probably do.

There are so many things, but here are just a few:
My Ultimate Handyman Trailer is one of the things that sets me apart from everyone else. I keep every tool, gadget, and gizmo imaginable stocked and ready to go — so when I show up, I'm ready to work from minute one. Fast, efficient, and with years of experience under my belt, I've genuinely seen it all — and I've got the trailer to prove it.

I believe in honest, transparent pricing. I charge $120 per hour plus a $50 service call fee to cover my travel and fully stocked Ultimate Handyman Trailer.
This results in a $170 minimum for the first hour. After that, I bill in 15-minute increments so you only pay for the time I’m actually working. If materials are needed, I provide the receipt with zero markup and add the exact cost to your invoice.
Most of my Grogan's Mill customers have a list of 3–10 small repairs. I can usually take care of everything in one visit, which saves you time and money.

I handle a wide range of repairs and maintenance in Grogan's Mill — drywall, door adjustments, TV mounting, ceiling fan installation, fence repairs, trim work, attic improvements, and general honey-do list items. If you don't see it listed, just call. I probably do it. I'm TDLR-licensed for ceiling fan and garbage disposal work — License #894 and #376398.
Door adjustments and repairs are probably number one given the age of the homes here. After that it's ceiling fan replacement, garbage disposal repair, TV mounting, picture and art hanging, and honey-do lists. Most customers want several things knocked out in a single visit.
It's some of my favorite work. Grogan's Mill is the oldest village in The Woodlands, with many homes dating back to the mid-1970s. I understand how these homes are built and what they need — from settling doors to aging fixtures, I've seen it all right here in the neighborhood. I live just next door in Panther Creek, so this is my backyard.
That's my specialty. Most of my Grogan's Mill customers have a list of 3–10 items — I work through the whole thing in a single visit so you're not coordinating multiple appointments.
Call or text me directly at 281-827-2614, or reach out through www.adamtaylorthehandyman.com. You'll hear from me, not a call center.
No matter which village you're in, I've got you covered.
