So the first hour comes to $170 total, and after that I bill in 15-minute increments at my hourly rate — you only pay for the time I’m actually working.

If materials are needed, I stop at the store on the way, show you the receipt, and add the exact cost to your invoice. What I paid is what you pay. Not a penny more.
