I'm Adam Taylor — I don't just work in The Woodlands, I actually live in Panther Creek, right next door to Cochran's Crossing. When you hire me, you aren't dealing with a franchise call center or a stranger dispatched from across town. You're dealing directly with your neighbor — a licensed, insured professional who knows the character and quirks of these homes firsthand.
I show up on time, fully stocked in my Ultimate Handyman Trailer, and ready to knock out your entire honey-do list in a single visit. Whether it's a ceiling fan, a TV mount, or ten things on a list you've been putting off since 2022 — I've got it covered.
Having lived and worked in The Woodlands since 2023, I'm very familiar with the needs of Cochran's Crossing homes. Built primarily in the 1980s and 90s, these well-established homes are hitting the age where fixtures, fans, and hardware are ready for upgrades — and I'm the guy to do it right.

When a fan starts wobbling or just needs replacing, I'm the guy my Cochran's Crossing neighbors call. Licensed, local, and I actually show up. TDLR License #894 and #376398.
A disposal that hums, grinds, or just stops working mid-rinse is nobody's idea of a good evening. I've replaced and repaired plenty of them in Cochran's Crossing — I'll get your kitchen back to normal. TDLR License #894 and #376398.
I've hung everything from a single frame to a staircase full of family photos in Cochran's Crossing. Everything goes up straight, anchored right, and in the exact spot you had in mind.
Flat-pack furniture was designed by people who have never assembled flat-pack furniture. IKEA, Wayfair, Amazon — I've built it all. Let me get everything put together and level — you've got better things to do on a Saturday.
There's a right way and a wrong way to mount a TV — and the wrong way usually involves a stud finder, a prayer, and a hole in the drywall. I'll handle it the right way.
Some people have a honey-do list. Some people have a honey-do binder. Either way, working through it is genuinely my favorite kind of job — everything handled.
If I listed everything, you’d be scrolling all day.
From technical repairs to full honey-do lists - if you're not sure I do it, just call. I probably do.

There are so many things, but here are just a few:
My Ultimate Handyman Trailer is one of the things that sets me apart from everyone else. I keep every tool, gadget, and gizmo imaginable stocked and ready to go — so when I show up, I'm ready to work from minute one. Fast, efficient, and with years of experience under my belt, I've genuinely seen it all — from stuck doors to flat-pack furniture with thirty-two identical-looking screws.
I believe in honest, transparent pricing. I charge $120 per hour plus a $50 service call fee to cover my travel and fully stocked Ultimate Handyman Trailer.
This results in a $170 minimum for the first hour. After that, I bill in 15-minute increments so you only pay for the time I'm actually working. If materials are needed, I provide the receipt with zero markup and add the exact cost to your invoice.
Most of my Cochran's Crossing customers have a list of 3–10 small repairs. I can usually take care of everything in one visit, which saves you time and money.

I handle a wide range of repairs and maintenance in Cochran's Crossing — drywall, door adjustments, TV mounting, ceiling fan installation, fence repairs, trim work, attic improvements, and general honey-do list items. If you don't see it listed, just call. I probably do it. TDLR License #894
Ceiling fan replacement is probably number one — these homes are at the age where the original fixtures are ready to go. After that it's picture and art hanging, TV mounting, cabinet hardware, honey-do lists, and furniture assembly. Most customers want several things knocked out in a single visit.
Right next door in Panther Creek. A Cochran's Crossing customer called me on a Friday — they were hosting a party Saturday and their trash can cabinet had broken. I got there in time, fixed it up, and the party went off without a hitch. That's what it means to have a neighbor who's also a handyman.
That's my specialty. Most of my Cochran's Crossing customers have a list of 3–10 items — I work through the whole thing in a single visit so you're not coordinating multiple appointments.
Call or text me directly at 281-827-2614, or reach out through www.adamtaylorthehandyman.com. You'll hear from me, not a call center.
No matter which village you're in, I've got you covered.
